About Kylene Dey
Kylene Dey is the founder and owner of EveryDey Fitness.
When you love what you do, it shows. And when you meet Kylene Dey, there’s no doubt she is living her passion. She is a fierce, lifelong athlete with a talent for helping people absolutely crush their fitness goals.
Originally from Pennsylvania, and a Philly girl at heart, Kylene attended college in Central Florida where she swam competitively. Her drive for wanting to help others achieve their fitness goals began on the pool deck when she transitioned from athlete to coach. She went on to coach competitive swimming at the Division I & II collegiate level, high school, and youth levels.
Wanting to her expand her reach beyond the world of competitive swimming, Kylene was accepted to the Masters of Science in Exercise Science at George Washington University here in Washington DC. There, she gained the physiological knowledge to provide her clients with a scientifically sound, well-rounded approach to fitness.
She fell in love with the history and culture of the nation’s capital, but it was the people she met and worked with that really sealed the deal. In 2013, DC became her permanent home.
Following grad school, Kylene worked as an in-home personal trainer where she developed a talent for working one on one with people, helping them remove the barriers to achieving their fitness and health goals. Armed with this expertise as well as a solid sense of purpose and passion, she started her own business — EveryDey Fitness — and never looked back.
Today, Kylene provides personalized live and virtual fitness coaching and personal training services for general fitness clients, triathletes, and master level swimmers.
She holds a Master of Science in Exercise Science and is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer with a focus on functional movement patterns. In addition to her advanced degree, she holds Personal Training and Sports Performance Specialists certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, as well as a Level II United States Masters Swimming Coaches Certification. Insured by Alternative Balance, Kylene provides a safe, fun, and scientifically sound environment to help her clients achieve and surpass their fitness goals!
What Our Clients Say
“I have been training happily with Kylene Dey for almost two years. She is very good at encouraging one to move on to a new level of difficulty, while being mindful of past or present bodily issues. As an example, Kylene has been working carefully with me as I recover from knee-replacement surgery. She has been very flexible about what I can and can’t do whether sitting or standing. She has made training by Zoom not just doable but enjoyable, especially when her graceful feline joins in.”

“I was initially impressed by Kylene because she was imaginative in devising an exercise routine for me. She didn’t think that my having Parkinson’s disease should limit my doing a plank or push-ups or bicep curls on the Bosu ball. I read that intensity interval training could be particularly useful for people with Parkinson’s. Kylene got right on it and has been thinking up different routines for me for four years to keep my brain working. It is hard work, but Kylene’s steady, even temperament and encouraging comments keep me focused. I directly attribute my high functioning to the exercise program Kylene has made for me. It works on Zoom too. I wouldn’t do it without her.”
